Baby Update

We have seen several doctors over the past few weeks and I thought everyone should be updated.
First we had tons of bloodwork done by our OB, we get those results Monday.
Second, we saw a hemotologist, which deals with blood issues. I have had blood clots in the past following my daughters birth and had to take injections during my last pregnancy. He did bloodwork as well and found that I have a genetic mutation in my blood (protien C deficiency) which causes the blood to thicken, therefore will have to be on blood thinners the last trimester.
Third, we saw a Internal Fetal Medicine Doctor to monitor me and the baby due to the blood disorder and the fact that I am Hypoglocymic. He did a sonogram and we enjoyed viewing our precious baby. We are anxious to share photos of the baby with everyone. He suggests we start the blood thinners at twelve weeks instead of 24. He is also repeating bloodwork for my sugar, and my liver function.
It sounds like a lot of  scary stuff, but it really isn't the baby and I are doing great, as soon as I find what food I can eat without getting ill. lol
Next week we take the four kids and my Dad to join us in watching our next sonogram at the OB's office. We will update more after a few more visits.
